LOW BACK PAIN
I have had low back issues most of my life. Dr. Kribs has been a huge help over the years. If I have him adjust me once a month, I do very well! I could not lead a normal life without his help.
The Grostic Method that he uses is very gentle, not anything like some chiropractors that appear to jerk your head right off your body. Also Dr. Kribs' methods are very precision.
It's definitely worth the twenty minute drive down from Clio to stay well!
SKEPTIC TURNS BELIEVER!
Stan (Doug) Chilton
I have lived in Clio most of my life and my parents drove me to Dr. Kribs for a bad scoliosis in my lower back. Thankfully his adjustments allowed me to avoid surgery.
After having two children, I did receive disc surgery and stopped my chiropractic for a number of years.
Recently my job moved me back to Flint and I again tried Dr. Kribs' method. I have found that keeping the nerves free at the base of my skull, allows the brain to balance the muscles and tissues in my lower back, and the continual, chronic pain there has improved immensely. He occasionally adjusts the lower segments, but normally the nerve release in the upper cervical area brings relief down below.
I highly recommend his very exacting method.

LOW BACK PAIN
I have suffered low back pain for years, going to lots of doctors and chiropractors. Some of my best help was from Dr. Jim McAlpine of Cheasaning, MI, not too far from my home in Clio. But after he passed, I went here and there getting some relief, but did not find a chiropractor who could correct the neck like Dr. McAlpine until a friend told me about Dr. Kribs. It turned out that Dr. Kribs' parents (also chiropracors) were the ones who got Dr. McAlpine involved with the Grostic method!
The Grostic method has helped me a lot. While I am still on the neck treatment table, I often feel a warmth go down my entire back and into my hip and knee. Doctor also works on my lower spine, but the gentle (and accurate) neck method helps tie it all together.
I especially liked the way he did careful measurements of the misaligned vertebrae. He took time to explain each angle to me. (He was proud of his very exacting system, and wanted me to understand how the brain was in charge of healing all throughout the body, and a how full correction of the misalignments in the neck would allow the nerves to initiate healing in virtually all areas of my body – not just my back!)
I actually work in Flint Township near his office, so before I drive back to Clio, I stop in to see Dr. Kribs about every four to six weeks. It truly keeps me fit.
